Answer: Sounds like something you are doing wrong. Knob turns. -

Can the aluminum pole be easily removed from the swivel mount? Pole diameter?
Answer: Unfortunately no, the aluminum pole is fixed to the swivel mount to prevent the pole from falling out. -

How high does it extend?
Answer: It does not extend. The flag we have is 12x18 and the grommets connect between the two black hooks. Pole is about +- 16” in total. -
Question:
Does anyone know the diameter of the pole?
Answer: I do not but it fits small flags perfectly with clips attached.
