The MOOER Pedal Controller L6 MKII is a programmable loop switcher with 6 loops, mute function, pre-position buffer, and post-position buffer. It is a well-built, easy-to-implement unit that comes with 2 modes – direct access and programmed combinations. In the direct access mode, you can switch on/off each pedal separately, while in the programmed combinations mode, up to 6 effects can be turned on simultaneously with just one button push. The switching is completely silent, which makes it a great choice for those who want to avoid the clicking sound made by other switchers in the market. However, there is a slight delay when switching between pedals that some users may find frustrating. The buffer function is a great addition, especially for eliminating the hit in signal to many fuzz pedals. However, it cannot replace a noise gate pedal. The unit does not support any type of MIDI, and it doesn't switch amp channels, either. The MOOER Pedal Controller is not for recording or playing back audio loops. It is just for managing pedals and creating presets for turning pedals on/off together.
