The Dynatron R30 1.5U Active CPU Coolers is a successful product. According to various reviews, the cooler can be used in 2U servers to cool two Intel E5-2670 processors efficiently. It is highly recommended for servers as it can handle 160-watt Xeons/i9 18 core processors. However, the product can become loud when running at full load as the temperature climbs too fast. This can be solved by replacing the fan with a smaller 80mm fan or a blower-type fan. In one review, an update was provided, stating that an air separation technique brought the peak temperature down by 10c. This means that a 165-watt CPU is now running at 70c at max fan speed. The product comes with a solid feel and performs well when oriented appropriately for the mobo, although the fans are on the speedy side. The use of a Noctua NF-R8 fan can also greatly reduce the noise level. Overall, it is an impressively tiny vapor chamber cooler that can maintain lower temperatures than direct-contact-heatpipe tower heatsinks.
