The Diversitech CVENT-3 Concentric Vent Termination Kit has two 3" connections. It is 11 inches long at its longest point and has an outer tube of 4 inches. There are actually two pipes that need to be extended, but the instructions inside the kit detail how to extend the pipes. The pipes supplied in the kit will need to be replaced with the same type of longer pipe. This kit is commonly used for high-efficiency appliances approved by a water collection system and drain built into the vent connection. PVC is the material, and it can be painted. This can be extended up to a maximum of 60 inches (5 feet), and SDR 26 PVC pipe must be used instead of Schedule 40 PVC. The large bell-shaped exterior cap comes off for installation and cleaning.
