The Einscan H model is a handheld 3D scanner that is capable of scanning large objects up to 13ft in size. It comes with the Shining3d version of Solid Edge CAD software, which includes the Reverse Engineering module, and has no subscription fee. To run the scanner on large projects, a laptop is necessary with an Intel i7 or i9 CPU, Nvidia RTX video card and system memory of at least 32GB. The scanner is easy to use and with the manual alignment function, two separate scans can easily be combined with at least 3 common points. The device requires an Nvidia GTX 1650 or RTX video card and at least 32GB system memory in the computer. It is not tripod compatible and is designed for handheld use only. Customers have tested the Einscan H scanner on exterior automotive body parts, and shiny black objects, such as an inner car door and a black suitcase, with good results, but it is recommended to use a dry shampoo or 3D spray for the best results.
