The B018A38S0C is a remote start system for select 2006-2016 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. While it is preloaded with an easy-to-use firmware, it is recommended to seek professional installation from someone who has experience working with remote start modules. One customer, who installed the system twice, stated that the flash link is only necessary for adding external transmitters or sensors or if you only have one factory key fob. If you have two factory key fobs, it should work without the flash link.
