Empire Magic Gag Toys & Practical Jokes Editorial Review
The Bar Bug in Ice Cube has garnered a mix of reviews, highlighting its role as a playful gag rather than a highly realistic prop. Customers report that this product offers plenty of entertainment, particularly for children and family gatherings, as it enhances the element of surprise during drink-serving moments. Many have shared amusing experiences of guests reacting to the deceptive ice, with one reviewer noting the joy her daughter has had in playing the hostess role with this prank. However, the product does have its limitations; some customers have commented that the fake ice cube does not float, which undermines the gag if it's placed in a drink with real ice, as it sinks to the bottom and spoils the surprise. Additionally, some users have noticed that the plastic has a yellow tint, making it stand out amongst standard ice cubes and reducing its effectiveness as a prank. Overall, while the Bar Bug in Ice Cube appears to be a hit with younger audiences seeking light-hearted fun, its practicality for adult pranking is somewhat diminished due to its less-than-perfect realism and functionality. **
