Burley Nomad Cargo Rack
The rack for the Nomad trailer has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers found it to greatly expand the carrying capability of their trailer and were happy with the additional space it provided for gear, others had a more frustrating experience with the installation. One customer mentioned that the installation was surprisingly easy, as long as you didn't tighten all the bolts until they were all threaded. However, they expressed dissatisfaction with the bottom two bolts being attached too close to the canvas bottom, potentially causing holes. To remedy this issue, they purchased rubber screw protectors to cover the bolt ends and nuts. Another customer encountered difficulties with the push buttons for lifting and folding the racks, finding it nearly impossible to operate with fingers alone. They had to use an old rubber-tipped stylus pen to push in the spring-loaded tabs. They also emphasized the need to be careful, as forcefully pushing the tabs into the tubes could lead to frustration. One customer mentioned that the rack was a perfect size for their solar panel, providing a convenient and easily accessible place to store it. They expressed satisfaction with the product. However, another customer expressed frustration with the installation process, particularly with the top bolts provided. They had to make a trip to a hardware store to purchase longer bolts and nylon bushings, improvising the installation. They deducted one star from their rating due to this issue. Overall, the rack for the Nomad trailer seems to have mixed reviews. While some customers found it easy to install and were happy with the extra storage space it provided, others encountered difficulties during installation. The push buttons for lifting and folding the racks also proved challenging for some customers.
