This Sabrent docking station allows users to access and work with two hard drives at once, which can be used independently. It also has the capability of offline cloning from one hard drive to another. According to a customer, using the disk clone feature for a 3TB drive took 17 hours to clone onto a 4TB drive, suggesting that a .5TB drive will take 3 hours, and it does a sector-by-sector copy. However, one customer had Slot #2 stop working just within hours of activation. The unit would cause "Disk Not Ejected Properly" errors for another customer, but it was resolved after switching to the provided USB A to C cable. The unit doesn't seem to have a fan and works fine, especially if a user has 2.5" SSD or old 3.5" SATA hard drives that they would like to read. Windows thinks that WD Blue 6TB HDDs are SSDs, which Sabrent acknowledged, but they refuse to fix it. Another customer noted that this station does not work if to be used to access a program that would only launch on the old computer. However, most customers find this Sabrent docking station to be simple, effective, decent quality, and inexpensive.
