It is manufactured to replace the original part and ensure that the engine runs smoothly. Additionally, it is found that the riser fits on a 1992 Mercuriser engine with a 4" center manifold. However, one should note that the riser has different gaskets for freshwater and raw water systems, requiring an appropriate gasket to be used.
