The book teaches programming in Python, followed by assembly language knowledge needed for the arm assembly language used in the text. The book also teaches about Python bytecode and how it works internally. The raspberry pi simulator is used for the assembly side of the build, but it can also be used on a PC using the software provided. The book is not recommended for beginners in programming. It is better suited for those who have some programming language knowledge. Some of the solutions are provided, but some are fun to figure out by oneself. The book also comes with questions at the end of each chapter, but only selected answers are given in the book. The concepts are well explained, but the book is intended as supplementary material for classroom courses in programming.
