The UBTECH JIMU Robot Builderbots Kit is an app-enabled robotic building block kit designed for STEM learning, the kit is designed for children aged 8 to 14 years and is meant to challenge them into learning how to code and interact with robotics. The kit is relatively easy to put together and comes equipped with robotic motor servos, character parts, sensors, collision detection sensors, multi-colour configurable LEDs, and programming capability. However, the connector wires are a bit cheap that makes it almost impossible to reconfigure its arrangement once put together. The kit is not compatible with Lego but is interchangeable. UBTECH offers a proprietary charger that plugs into the Main Control Box and charges for about 90 minutes, with 90 minutes of playtime. The Jimu Robot's app is available on iOS and Android. If one has any issues or questions, the UBTECH support team is available for support via email or their support line. The kit is pricey but definitely worth the price for parents interested in introducing their child to robotics and programming.
